1. Bathing at the beach

Bring your lunch and enjoy the day! You can also rent boats on site with À la dérive. Lanaudière has many beaches. For a complete list of Lanaudière beaches, click here.

2. Cycling on a 154 km bike path

Take the whole family on a two-wheeled adventure! The véloroute des Moulins offers 154 km of cycling path stretching from Terrebonne to Mascouche. The route will keep you on the banks of the Rivière des Mille-Îles for longer, passing through Île-des-Moulins and Vieux-Terrebonne. Plan your day with the tourist map, which includes cycling routes.

In the Terrebonne and Mascouche area, there are many other alternatives. If you like off-road cycling, you'll love the TransTerrebonne. You'll discover wooded areas far from the city. Alternatively, take La Seigneurie des Plaines, a 21-km cycling circuit that links the TransTerrebonne to the P'tit train du Nord trail.

3. Water slides, magic castle, haunted house and zoo

Complexe Atlantide is located 40 minutes from Montreal, in Saint-Calixte. Here, water slides are fun for all ages. What makes Complexe Atlantide unique is its impressive range of activities. In addition to the slides, there's a magical castle to visit. Children (and adults) can marvel at a magical world of princesses and pirates. If you'd like to extend your stay by adding an overnight stay, discover the Hôtel de la cité perdue and experience sleeping with the lions!

4. An exhilarating aerial adventure

The Arbraska tree course lets you venture into the forest. The site offers tree courses of varying levels of difficulty. The challenges to overcome are surprising and fun: a bridge with missing planks, a tightrope, a rope net, a ladder suspended in the void... and, above all, zip lines to race down! Plus, take advantage of the Arbre-en-Ciel Village, a network of suspended houses linked by monkey bridges, complete with games, slides and zip lines. You'll be part of an exciting and rewarding family adventure!
