About us
The Lanaudière region is located on unceded Indigenous territory, historically recognized as a place of life and passage for many First Nations. The region, particularly Nitaskinan, is ancestral territory. The Atikamekw Nation, particularly the community of Manawan, has lived, hunted, and fished here since time immemorial. We recognize the living, ancestral, and cultural presence of the first guardians of these lands.
