Don’t miss Les rendez-vous des tannant(e)s
Every day from February 24 to March 6, the SODECT is offering a variety of shows and activities for families with children aged 5 to 12. Taking place at various venues in Vieux-Terrebonne, this cultural event is a great opportunity for young people to discover the arts. Musical performances, puppet shows, circus, magic . . . there’s something for everyone!
A different kind of zoo
Come and have a wild time at Familizoo in Saint-Calixte. Home to various kinds of animals from Canada and elsewhere, this zoo also has lions, monkeys, zebras and other wildlife species roaming about in its animal sanctuary.
Take them treetop trekking
This year, Arbraska is open all winter, and Spring Break is no exception! Experience the snowy courses, or zooming down a zip line and crossing bridges, nets and footbridges, all in a safe setting! Tiny tots will love exploring the colourful Arbre-en-ciel village featuring tree houses, slides and mini zip lines just for them.
Try snowshoeing . . . and get close to bison!
For an activity that’s out of the ordinary, consider a trip to Terre des Bisons for a snowshoeing experience like no other! The snowshoe trail is open all winter long, from Wednesday to Sunday, and costs $12 for adults and $8 for children aged 6 to 12. Free for children under 5. Trail access also includes a visit to the Quebec big game interpretation centre.

In the mood for some real action this March Break week? Head over to Laser Action and get ready to roll! With a capacity of up to 36 players, our arena offers a safe environment where everyone can experience the fun of laser tag, trying out various strategies. Reserve early!
Let them learn art at the Museum day camp
The Musée d’art de Joliette is offering an educational Spring Break day camp from March 4 to 8. The program includes: drawing, collage, painting, etching, assemblage and installation. Also, visits to the exhibition hall, games and lots of outdoor activities! On the last day of camp, parents even get to attend their child’s vernissage. Reservations required HERE.

Cross-country and downhill skiing
Whether you like speeding down slopes or gliding along cross-country ski trails, Lanaudière has endless beautiful options for you. With four ski resorts to choose from, you’re sure to find the perfect place to ski with the whole family. Expect excellent conditions wherever you go: at Val Saint-Côme, Ski La Réserve, Ski Garceau or Ski Montcalm. For cross-country skiing in the woods, Chez Ti-Jean, Ski Montagne Coupée, Sentiers Brandon and the Tournée des Cantons de Rawdon are all great places to explore! Several locations also offer snowshoeing trails. Equipment rental available at additional cost.
Skating at Parc regional des Chutes Dorwin
Dorwin Falls Park has a great skating trail that winds through the forest. The trees are lit up at night, adding a magical touch to the whole experience. The frozen waterfall is also spectacular! Don’t forget your camera—it’s a beautiful place to capture snowy winter images. Want to go skating several times throughout the week? Enjoy the beautiful winter days before they’re over!
Sliding and snow tubing
Snow tubing is a thrilling way to enjoy the snowy hills with the whole family. Super Glissades Matha is the ideal place for this activity. Sliding enthusiasts will also love Groupe Plein Air Terrebonne, Havre Familial, Saint-Jean-Bosco Park, Chalets Lanaudière and Ski La Réserve. Many of these places also offer a wide range of other outdoor activities, including snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and skating.
Dogsledding
Looking for a one-of-a-kind winter experience the whole family can enjoy? Go dogsledding! This activity is available at several locations throughout Lanaudière.
