Here are a few rustic campsites to explore for your next getaway!

Foret ô cascades | Rawdon 

Just a stone's throw from the Ouareau River, make yourself at home at a serviced or unassisted campsite. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring, perfect for evenings under the stars. For added convenience, the multi-purpose pavilion offers toilets, showers, drinking water, electricity, mosquito netting and internet access.

PARC NATIONAL DU MONT-TREMBLANT | Saint-côme and Saint-donat 

Rustic camping enthusiasts will love the campsites in the two sectors of the Parc National du Mont-Tremblant, accessible via Saint-Côme for the L'Assomption sector and via Saint-Donat for the Pimbina-Saint-Donat sector. You can take advantage of the unique canoe camping experience to explore the quiet waters of the park, or reserve a spot at the campsite. After an adventurous day of hiking, relax on the supervised beach at Lac Provost in the La Pimbina sector. Reservations are usually made online in advance.

PARC NATURE ÉMÉLINOIS | Sainte-émélie-de-l'énergie

In the Parc nature Émélinois, all accommodations offer direct access to a vast network of 25 km of hiking trails, including the Sentier National. For total immersion in nature, there are five rustic campsites specially equipped for tents, perfect for a simple getaway.

CHALETS LANAUDIÈRE | Rawdon

Chalets Lanaudière invites you to pitch your tent on one of its 12 rustic campsites, nestled in the heart of a mature forest and a stone's throw from a magnificent lake. In addition to an enchanting setting, your stay includes access to a variety of outdoor activities: nearby hiking trails, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, pedal boating and more.

GOLLÉ GOULU | Saint-côme

From May to October, campers can enjoy rustic sites suitable for tents and mosquito netting, while some sites are equipped to accommodate small RVs or vans. Designed to provide an immersive wilderness experience, these sites are spaced far enough apart to ensure peace and privacy. A few steps away, you'll find a pure water source (not certified for drinking) and ecological composting toilets, perfect for an eco-friendly stay!

HAVRE FAMILIAL | Sainte-Béatrix

Our six wilderness campsites, accessible by car, are available for rent from May to October. Each site can accommodate one or two tents, providing the ideal space for a nature getaway. As an added bonus, all seasonal activities, with the exception of fishing, are included with your camping or cabin stay. A great way to enjoy the great outdoors!

PARC RÉGIONAL DU LAC TAUREAU | SAINT-MICHEL-DES-SAINTS

The Parc régional du Lac Taureau offers a unique camping experience with several accessible sectors and more secluded sites on an island or at the head of a small bay. With 300 sites scattered over the park's vast territory, every camper can find his or her own piece of paradise, whether by the lake or in the heart of the forest. Here, rustic camping rhymes with tranquility, awe-inspiring nature and breathtaking scenery. With its 54 islands, 95 km² and endless golden beaches, Lac Taureau is an invitation to escape.

NATIONAL TRAIL

Located on the banks of the Rivière L'Assomption and near the Rivière Swaggin, the sector offers 9 unserviced primitive campsites with dry toilets, as well as a shelter that can accommodate up to 20 people (by reservation). A mosquito shelter and picnic tables complete the facilities and provide the ideal setting for an authentic, rejuvenating outdoor experience. A suspended footbridge spans the river and connects the Swaggin and Boule trails, perfect for hikers in search of exploration.

PARC RÉGIONAL DE LA CHUTE-À-BULL | SAINT-CÔME

The Parc régional de la Chute-à-Bull offers a single primitive campsite located 2.5 km from the visitor center. For campers in search of peace and quiet! A true hidden treasure, this site on the banks of the Boule River offers privacy, ideal for a night in the wilderness. With direct access to park trails and the National Trail, it's the perfect place to pitch your tent after a day of hiking and exploring. The perfect place to unplug, listen to the sound of the water and enjoy the silence of the forest!

PARC RÉGIONAL DES SEPT-CHUTES | SAINT-ZÉNON

Five primitive campsites near Lac Guy and Lac Rémi offer you the opportunity to spend the night in the heart of the park, surrounded by mountains and trails. They are isolated and located between 800 m and 2.9 km from the park's reception. Imagine sitting under the starry sky, with Mont Brassard in the background, and enjoying the tranquility of a warm summer evening... An immersive and unforgettable experience for outdoor enthusiasts!

PARC RÉGIONAL DE LA FORÊT OUAREAU | NOTRE-DAME-DE-LA-MERCI

Several unimproved primitive campsites await you for an immersion in the wilderness of the vast Ouareau forest. At Pont Suspendu, 50 sites are set up near the river and the Murmures trail, perfect for a night lulled by the sound of the water. On the Contreforts side, 29 sites for tents and RVs line Lac du Castor, offering access for hiking, canoeing and kayaking, with cliffs offering breathtaking views. Finally, in Grande-Jetée, some 15 sites under a forest of tall pines welcome campers and caravans, while some 30 others, accessible on foot, are located along the Ouareau River and the Murmures trail. The Massif sector offers 10 rustic campsites in the heart of the network. Some are accessible by car, while others, reserved for tents, require a 2-6 km hike. With or without platforms, these unspoilt sites offer total immersion in nature and privileged access to National Trail loops that lead to spectacular mountain views. The Rivière sector offers 22 rustic campsites exclusively for tents, located near the Ouareau River. For a more accessible experience, 3 sites are accessible by vehicle, while 19 others require a short walk ranging from 250 m to 3.5 km. Offering peace and tranquility, these unserviced sites are perfect for a stay in the heart of nature, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Keep an eye on the booking periods for the different campsites in the ZEC, which usually open in April.

ZEC COLLIN | SAINT-MICHEL-DES-SAINTS

The ZEC Collin offers a wide range of campsites, with several sectors that welcome campers. Many of the sites are located near lakes and rivers, making them ideal for nature lovers.

ZEC LAVIGNE | SAINT-ZÉNON

The ZEC Lavigne has a total of 340 pitches, 85 of which are short-term primitive pitches. All are located on the shores of lakes throughout the area. Peace and quiet guaranteed!

ZEC DES NYMPHES | MANDEVILLE

The ZEC des Nymphes offers a wide range of primitive campsites. Some of them are accessible by car, while others welcome the more adventurous who want to hike independently.
