Sleep in a bubble, a teepee or even an elf nest

For a truly unique experience, head to Les Pieds sur Terre in Saint-Calixte, where each rustic cabin was built with loving care by the owners. If sleeping in a bubble (heated even in winter!) under the stars sounds exciting, wait until you read about the elf nest! Inspired by legends of elves, this wooden cabin nestled in the trees features magnificent stained-glass windows. A real treat for fans of fantasy worlds! In Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci, you can enjoy a very unusual stay at Expérience Equinox—a four-season immersive accommodation experience in a fully equipped dome in the heart of nature. It’s the perfect place to unwind, enjoy the moment and recharge your batteries. Picture yourself slipping into a hot tub after a day in the outdoors, gazing up at the starry skies!

Overnight in a fully equipped hut

Each is equipped with a wood-burning stove, solar powered energy and pit toilets. Want to pitch a tent? There are also 15 wilderness campsites in the forest or on its outer edges. A vegetable garden, orchard and trout pond complete the picture.

A cabin in the woods for adventure seekers

In the regional parks of Matawinie, you can extend your stay overnight in a cabin tucked away in the forest near the hiking trails. The Sept-Chutes Regional Park and the Forêt Ouareau Regional Park have some for rent.

There’s also a great cabin with a breathtaking view in the Chutes-à-Bull Regional Park. The Refuge du Bélvédère sleeps up to six people and is a short distance from the parking lot (1 km). You’re sure to love it! Two other cabins, closer to the information centre, are also accessible.

Combine a spa with glamping

With its tiny homes and pods near the baths, Spa Natur’Eau in Mandeville is the place to go for some serious glamping. Each fully equipped cabin nestled in the forest offers a comfortable night’s sleep. Everything is designed to offer you a wonderfully relaxing time that goes way beyond the thermal experience.
