L'ASSOMPTION CHRISTMAS MARKET | NOVEMBER 27 TO DECEMBER 23, 2025
In a charming village in the heart of downtown L'Assomption, the L'Assomption Christmas Market is celebrating its seventeenth anniversary this year! Considered by many to be one of the most beautiful markets in Quebec, its reputation is well established. Visitors and artisans alike wear their best smiles. In total, there are more than sixty talented exhibitors for you to discover. Terrines, vinaigrettes, mulled wine, jams, and tourtières—local foods make your mouth water every time you pass by a kiosk. Further on, many objects and clothing items handmade by local artisans catch your eye. Beautiful, unique gift ideas for our loved ones. A large enclosed igloo houses a warm and inviting space that feels like stepping into another world. The project is called “Au pied du sapin” (At the foot of the Christmas tree) and consists of a sumptuous model inspired by the greatest Christmas stories. This family area is as appealing to children as it is to adults, creating a space that brings people together.
JOLIETTE CHRISTMAS MARKET | NOVEMBER 27 TO DECEMBER 23, 2025
The Joliette Christmas Market is a family-friendly, traditional event. This slightly more intimate market is every bit as good as the others, as it's where families come to meet Santa Claus. He will arrive at the market on Saturday, November 30, at 1:15 p.m. for the eagerly awaited children's parade. A multitude of mascots, characters, giant puppets, and elves will enliven the parade. Dance troupes will also be part of the festivities, and several other surprises are planned. There is also the Place Festive, a space dedicated to a variety of performances: piano, traditional music, choirs, storytelling for children, and much more. These performances will take place every Friday at 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m., starting December 6. Here again, the spirit is festive. Christmas music echoes in our heads as we warm ourselves by the fire while sipping mulled wine.
TERREBONNE CHRISTMAS MARKET | DECEMBER 5 TO 21, 2025
