Lanaudière's public markets: a destination for all kinds of discoveries

To discover the countless treasures of the Lanaudière region, there’s nothing quite like visiting its farmers’ markets! This summer, we invite you to meet the local farmers and artisans of our beautiful region.

Through early fall, farmers’ markets are coming to life in several municipalities across Lanaudière. From one end of the region to the other, these temporary markets are ready to introduce you to all kinds of local food and artisanal products.

There are plenty of good reasons to visit farmers’ markets. Of course, they offer you the chance to discover and purchase high-quality fresh products. They also serve as a driver of regional economic development and help reduce environmental impact by promoting local purchasing. But above all, the markets provide an opportunity to meet wonderful people, whether they’re producers, artisans, or even your neighbors!

Throughout the summer season, several municipalities and organizations in the region host farmers’ markets. To make this happen, they rely on the support of valuable partners who make these events possible.

Here’s a glimpse of some of the markets organized for the 2026 season in the region and the activities you can participate in. Wonderful discoveries await you!

MOULIN PUBLIC MARKET

When? The Terrebonne Public Market takes place every Saturday from July 4 to September 13, 2026, and the Mascouche Public Market takes place every Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., from July 5 to September 13, 2026.

Where? The Terrebonne Public Market is held in the public square at the corner of Saint-Pierre and Sainte-Marie streets, and the Mascouche Public Market is located on the city hall grounds.

The Moulinois Public Market is unique in that it takes place in two cities: in Terrebonne on Saturdays and in Mascouche on Sundays. Over the course of the weeks and depending on the harvest, various local farmers, artisans, and food processors take turns offering visitors unique and delicious products.

Both locations feature activities that will appeal to the whole family.

RAWDON HARVEST PUBLIC MARKET

When? Saturdays, July 4, August 8, August 22, and September 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where? In the City Hall parking lot (3647 Queen Street, Rawdon)

Fruits, vegetables, fish, meats, cheeses, sweets, jams, microgreens, honey, and artisanal goods: Rawdon’s La Récolte public market is brimming with the finest local finds from the Lanaudière region. Don’t miss your chance to discover the abundant selection of products on offer!

PUBLIC MARKET AROUND THE SAINT-DAMIEN oven

When? Saturdays, June 27, July 11 and 25, and August 8 and 22.

Where? At 6865 Chemin Montauban, in Saint-Damien

Recognized as one of the largest farmers’ markets in Lanaudière, the Saint-Damien Farmers’ Market is definitely worth a visit. You’ll love its friendly atmosphere, its delicious wood-fired pizza slices, and its festive activities. Five times over the summer, more than 30 vendors come together to offer you everything you need to fill your basket (and treat yourself!): breads and pastries, fresh produce, meats, cheeses, beverages, handmade crafts, and so much more.

SAINT-NORBERT FARMERS' MARKET

When? June 6, July 25, August 22, and October 10, 2026

Where? 2111 Principale Street, Saint-Norbert

With its warm atmosphere and dozens of vendors, the small farmers’ market is a source of pride for the town’s residents. We’ll stop by to discover a variety of regional products and bring home plenty of goodies.

SAINT-DONAT MARKET OF DISCOVERIES

When? Saturdays, June 27, July 18, August 8, and August 29, 2026

Where? 442 Principale Street, Saint-Donat

A must-see summer event in Saint-Donat, the Marché des découvertes invites you to enjoy a unique culinary experience that celebrates local terroir and craftsmanship. Come meet passionate producers and artisans who will introduce you to delicious products made with heart and authenticity. A wonderful way to sample the very best our region has to offer!

CHERTSEY PUBLIC MARKET

When? Saturdays, July 11, August 15, September 19, and October 3, 2026

Where? 543 Chemin de l'Église, Chertsey

The Marché public de Chertsey is your go-to spot for great local food and culinary delights. Organized by the non-profit Passion Marchés, this market offers a wide variety of healthy food products, all in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. At each event, you’ll discover around twenty diverse booths where you can stock up on local flavors.
