It's definitely worth the detour, and an opportunity to discover this unrivalled site if you've never been (or to return, because why not?).
THE (RELAXING) FENG-SHUI GARDEN
When you arrive, start your visit in the feng-shui garden, where you can discover the garden's nine zones, each with its own unique theme. Interpretation panels will be at your disposal along the way, so you can learn more about this art form. What's more, it's the only feng-shui garden in Quebec that can be visited! Tip: keep an eye out for hidden meanings. Can you see them all in one visit?
THINGS TO KNOW
The site is so vast that we recommend you plan a few hours for your visit, so as not to miss anything. What's more, if you want to take advantage of the magnificent site to grab a bite to eat, it's also possible to bring your own lunch and picnic on site.
Have you been charmed by your visit and discovered a passion for bonsai? Bonsaï Gros-Bec also has a school section, offering a range of training courses and workshops for all levels. Click here to find out more.
After a visit from our on-site team, we returned home with a bonsai! Our choice? On Micheal's advice, we opted for a young specimen of the Grewia Occidentalis variety, originally from Africa, a beginner-friendly species that produces pretty purple flowers in due course.
Whether you'd like to learn more, admire the collection, buy some tools or adopt your first bonsai like us, Bonsaï Gros-Bec is a unique place where you'll be accompanied by real experts in the field, and which you should visit without delay!
