It's the perfect place for a day out with friends, a romantic getaway or simply to take the time to savor the moment. Here, wine rhymes with bucolic landscapes, local produce and human encounters.
Here are a few addresses where you can raise a glass to the region's beauty.
VIGNOBLE SAINT-GABRIEL | SAINT-GABRIEL-DE-BRANDON
Located on a rocky hillside near Lac Maskinongé, this Ecocert Canada-certified organic vineyard grows over 35,000 vines. Enjoy a guided tour of their unique wine cellar, built from an old road viaduct, and discover their antique tractor museum. The site also offers walking trails and a boutique selling lavender products. Their terrace is also magnificent for relaxing while sipping a drink, a great activity on a summer's day.

VIGNOBLE SAINT-THOMAS | SAINT-THOMAS
Established on former tobacco land, this vineyard offers a range of unique wines made from hybrid grape varieties. Their warm reception room can accommodate up to 50 people, ideal for private events. A picnic area is also available to enjoy the rural setting. Their orange wine is a must if you want to get off the beaten track. A tasting experience is also offered with a fine selection of the vineyard's wines and some of the best local produce from our beautiful region.
VINEYARD TÊTES AU VENT | SAINTE-MARIE-SALOMÉ
Here, we grow grapes differently. This creative winery specializes in natural wines, produced in small batches, without chemicals, and always in harmony with nature. Each vintage is an opportunity to let the grapes express themselves freely, creating unique wines full of character. Here, a good wine is more than just a taste: it’s an encounter, a moment, a setting. That’s what makes every sip as magical as it is memorable.
Come discover their world in a relaxed, no-frills atmosphere. Settle in on the terrace or at the edge of the vineyards, a glass in hand, accompanied by a platter of local artisan cheeses and charcuterie. A truly simple moment of pleasure.

VIGNOBLE MONDOR | LANORAIE
Established in 2004, this vineyard is the result of three generations of a family passionate about farming. Set in an enchanting setting with breathtaking views of their 40,000 vines, the place invites you to relax and explore. In the summer, you can stop by their shop for a tasting, explore the vineyards at your own pace, or enjoy the picnic area. Their soil, rich in silica and marine sediments left behind by the Champlain Sea, acts as a natural mirror that captures light and heat, providing ideal conditions for growing grapes.
Come sit on their terrace to taste their wines: a dry, fruity red made from Frontenac, Marquette, and Ste-Croix grapes; a dry white with a brilliant color made from Frontenac Gris; or an ice wine, harvested in the dead of winter to extract a nectar with intense peach aromas. Tastings are free, and self-guided tours are available during the season. And if you’re looking for a unique venue for your next event, the site is also available for rent.
The Lanaudière vineyards invite you to slow down, taste, and savor. Every visit is an opportunity to meet passionate artisans, taste authentic products, and fall under the spell of a corner of the country that remains all too little known. So this summer, take the time to raise a glass to local treasures, and who knows, you might just leave with a bottle (or two) of your new favorite finds.
