REPENTIGNY OKTOBERFEST | SEPTEMBER 5 TO 7
Are you a fan of microbrewery beers? For its 18th edition, Okto invites you to experience much more than just a festival: a true festive immersion to share with friends or family. From September 5 to 7, come discover local products, have fun at the carnival, laugh out loud at comedy shows, rock out to live music, and enjoy tons of food. A great atmosphere and cold beer guaranteed!
1804 THE EVENT | SEPTEMBER 6 AND 7 IN TERREBONNE
Head to Île-des-Moulins in Terrebonne for a real journey back in time! Over the course of a weekend, come meet the travelers of the North West Company and immerse yourself in the fascinating era of the fur trade. With entertainment, shows, traditional dances, and historical discoveries, you'll have plenty to marvel at throughout the day.
On the program: shooting demonstrations, traveling theater, introductions to basket weaving, arrowhead making, and quilting, conferences, and more. A 100% free outing, perfect for ending the summer on a high note with the whole family!
FÊTE AU PETIT VILLAGE | SEPTEMBER 12 TO 14 IN REPENTIGNY
Want to take a trip back in time? The Fête au Petit Village transports you to the heart of Lanaudière traditions in a warm and festive atmosphere. For three days, from September 12 to 14, come discover Repentigny's rich heritage through a program that will take you back in time.
On the menu: traditional dance and music performances, demonstrations of old crafts (shoemaker, blacksmith, cooper, dyer, and more), exhibitions of photos and antique objects, heritage interpretation trails, and local tales that will inspire you.
Don't miss the opening show, “Galant, tu perds ton temps” (Gallant, you're wasting your time), presented on the church square—a true immersion in the evenings of yesteryear. And for a touch of local magic, attend Contes de la galerie (Tales from the Gallery), a journey where fantasy and oral traditions meet in a unique atmosphere.
CHAPO – INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF PUBLIC ENTERTAINERS | SEPTEMBER 19 TO 21 IN MASCOUCHE
Every year, Old Mascouche is transformed into a veritable playground to host CHAPO, the largest gathering of public entertainers in Canada. From September 19 to 21, come experience a weekend filled with entertainment, laughter, and colorful performances. With over a hundred performances spread across several stages, this street festival promises to dazzle the whole gang!
SYMPHONY OF COLORS | SAINT-DONAT
In the fall, Saint-Donat transforms into a living painting with its Symphony of Colors! From mid-September to mid-October, come celebrate the season in this exceptional natural setting where the leaves catch fire... without burning! Ski Garceau and La Réserve ski resorts open their ski lifts ($) to take you to the summit to admire the flamboyant landscapes. The Sainte-Marcelline-de-Kildare Artisans Festival invites you to enjoy a weekend filled with color, talent, and beautiful discoveries. With over a hundred exhibitors, this event, which is firmly rooted in the Lanaudière region, showcases the expertise of local artisans. Local products, arts and crafts, a friendly atmosphere, and inspiring encounters await you in the heart of a village where creativity shines. ARA FÉRIA | OCTOBER 4, 5, 11, AND 12 IN SAINT-CALIXTE
If you're looking for the ultimate family activity this fall, ARA Féria will blow you away! Over two weekends, October 4–5 and 11–12, the 45 Degrés Nord event site in Saint-Calixte will be transformed into a huge playground in the heart of nature.
On the agenda: more than 45 educational, immersive, and downright fun activity stations. Climb the observation tower, get lost in the forest maze, try the zip line, jump on the inflatable games, or beat out a rhythm on the interactive percussion instruments. And with giant games, entertainment, and shows, there's something for everyone, young and old alike!
FRISSONS FESTIVAL | OCTOBER 16 TO 18 IN MASCOUCHE
A clown with a smile that’s too wide. Little girls with empty stares. Puppets that move on their own... Welcome to the Frissons Festival in Mascouche! From October 16 to 18, Parc du Grand-Coteau will be transformed into a blood-curdling Halloween atmosphere—just enough to give you goose bumps... and leave you wanting more.
On the menu: an illuminated path dotted with animated worlds, shadow plays, and terrifying scenery. Zombies, ghosts, skeletons, and other creatures await you at every turn. And if you feel like something is watching you in the dark... it probably is. Thrills guaranteed, even for the bravest!
