FESTIVAL OF PLEASURES AND TRADITIONS | JANUARY 21 TO 25, 2026

Winter sports enthusiasts and fans of traditional Quebec music are invited to come and celebrate. The main attraction that will bring festival-goers together for this grand celebration is, of course, the presence of the best traditional music artists and bands. The Plaisirs et Traditions Festival is following in the footsteps of the International de chiens de traîneaux de Lanaudière, which ran for nearly 20 years. True to this heritage, L'Épiphanie continues to welcome winter sports enthusiasts and fans of traditional Quebec music at the end of January.

Saint-Zénon sur glace | January 24 to March 1, 2026

The Festival sur glace offers a program that will warm up even the coldest days: fiery performances by Justin Boulet, the Jackson band, and Phil Lauzon, not to mention family and sports activities such as ice fishing, ice sculpting, torchlight hiking, and curling, as well as festive evenings at the Igloo and other must-see events. The whole community comes together to celebrate winter like never before!

LE GRAND FRISSON DE RAWDON | JANUARY 24, 2026

The winter event Le Grand Frisson returns on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the beautiful Rawdon municipal beach. You can enjoy around twenty activities for the whole family, as well as food service and a bar on site. Tube sliding, snowskating, fat biking, snow games, a festive atmosphere, dog sledding, and lots of entertainment: everything you need for a truly exciting day in the middle of winter. The La Bordée festival is a free winter carnival open to all that brings life to every neighborhood in Terrebonne, offering a multitude of fun activities and various entertainment options. FESTI-GLACE DE LA VILLE DE JOLIETTE | January 30 to February 1, 2026

The City of Joliette announces the return of its popular winter event. This year, the festival will take place on the banks of the L'Assomption River. Festival-goers will be able to attend shows and enjoy a variety of activities completely free of charge. Each day of festivities will feature family activities and cultural performances. Inflatable games and creative and sports activities will be on offer! A great way to enjoy winter!

Saint-Côme en glace | January 31 to February 15, 2026

The Saint-Côme Ice Festival has been held every February since 1967. This unique festival in Quebec has made the region famous! It is above all a tradition of talent and passion and the work of more than 150 artisans. It is the result of the hard work of many volunteers who, year after year, come to sculpt blocks of ice to create magnificent masterpieces. People come from far and wide to admire the magnificent sculptures that line the main street. Several activities, events, and shows are also offered free of charge to festival-goers. FESTIVAL FIRE AND ICE IN REPENTIGNY | FEBRUARY 7, 8, 14 and 15, 2026

Come and enjoy winter to the fullest at Lanaudière's largest outdoor gathering, the Fire and Ice Festival. A dozen activities will be offered free of charge to festival-goers: snow maze, slides, snow scooters, ice ring, and more. There will also be numerous shows for young and old alike.
