Family activities and terrifying events for Halloween

September 24, 2025

Halloween in Lanaudière guarantees thrills and spine-chilling moments. Here are the planned Halloween activities in the region.

FESTIVAL FRISSONS

From October 16 to 18, the Festival Frissons de Mascouche will transform Mascouche's Parc du Grand-Coteau into an exceptionally Halloween-esque setting! Imaginary worlds will be brought to life by numerous characters and actors who will wander the grounds. Not to mention the actors who will animate the Chemin Surprenant, a frightening trail for the most daring festival-goers. Presented by Caisse Desjardins Le Manoir, Family Day is ideal for those who wish to visit the site during the day rather than in the evening. Numerous activities for children will be offered throughout the day. Please note that the Frissons Festival is free for Mascouche residents, but online reservations are still required. You can purchase your tickets HERE.

A FAMILY HALLOWEEN PARTY AT CHOCO CHOCOLAT

On Saturday, October 25, Choco Chocolat invites you to celebrate Halloween in style! Immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere, with staff dressed up for the occasion. And for little monsters in costume who make a purchase, a chocolate Halloween lollipop will be offered as a gift. Come share a sweet and creative moment! THE LABYRINTH AT FERME GUY RIVEST

Throughout October, the Grand Labyrinthe at Ferme Guy Rivest is specially decorated for Halloween. Ghosts, princesses, witches, and other characters will welcome you from Wednesday to Sunday and Monday, October 13, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Saturdays in October, the maze will be open from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The maze takes on a Halloween atmosphere with hundreds of decorations added to the paths. Some of them move on their own, but don't panic: there are no actors hiding to jump out and scare the little ones. The idea is to appeal to the whole family and immerse young and old alike in a festive atmosphere, without excessive thrills. As a bonus, you can leave with your freshly picked pumpkin! And for the more curious, an original activity awaits you: a life-size murder mystery where you'll have to put on your detective hat and find the motive, the weapon, and the culprit. Come solve the puzzles scattered throughout the maze and take home some strawberry wine or jam made right on the farm!
