Culture
Free activity

The City of Notre-Dame-des-Prairies is one of the few cities with less than 10,000 inhabitants that has taken up the challenge of positioning itself in favor of culture. In recent years, the City Council has announced its intentions and taken steps to realize its vision of promoting access to culture and contributing to the professionalization of artists. The shows presented at the Carrefour culturel are all free of charge, with a voluntary contribution.

Since December 2017, the City of Notre-Dame-des-Prairies has had an exhibition hall that has nothing to envy the biggest! This splendid 1700 square foot multifunctional hall hosts visual arts exhibitions of all kinds: painting, photo, installations, videos, sculpture, etc. Four to six exhibitions are presented each year, lasting one to three months each. As with all of Notre-Dame-des-Prairies' cultural activities, admission is free at voluntary cost.
