Manawan, aboriginal community of the Atikamekw nation, invites visitors to experience sustainable and fair tourism with authentic learning opportunities, adventures and cultural exchanges in an outstanding natural setting, easily accessible from Montréal. Summer packages to the traditional ‘Matakan’ site (Kempt Lake) include: guaranteed trilingual departures of 2, 3 and 7 nights, from May 21 to October 19, 2012 with shuttle minibus from Montréal on Mondays and Wednesdays or by seaplane from Laval (suburb).
