Honouring the best: Les Grands Prix du tourisme québécois
Created in 1985, this tourism awards competition was established to promote excellence, good practice and a spirit of innovation and creativity in the tourism industry. It also aims to raise awareness among the general public of the best lodging, agrotourism, restaurants, events, attractions, outdoor activities, services and transportation for tourists, with a focus on sustainable tourism.
This region-wide competition is held in the fall and honours regional winners in a number of categories. The winners then have the opportunity to represent Lanaudière in the provincial finals of the Grands Prix du tourisme québécois.
